The performance group is formed of analysts from nine probation Trusts. The group meets regularly with senior representatives from MOJ Statistics Department and the Head of Probation Performance/Research NOMS. The purpose of the meetings is to influence the development of new probation measures and MOJ statistics. The group also provides advance information to Trusts in respect of new data releases to enable preparation for media handling.
Objectives for 2012/13
- Influence the development of the new adult reduce re-offending measures.
- Engage in the development of an improved set of compliance measures.
- Represent PCA in the development of the MOJ data laboratory to support Trusts in the commissioning of research.
