Newsletter 11 April 2013

Dear PCA member

Following the Easter break we have a packed edition of the PCA Newsletter.

The Transforming Justice Proposals continue to pre-occupy Trusts and of course PCA.  We continue to present our views to a wide range of stakeholders, including later in April with the Secretary of State, Chris Grayling, and at the All-Party Parliamentary Penal Affairs Group. We understand that the Government’s response to the Consultation is planned to be published mid-May.

Newsletter 19 March 2013

Dear PCA member

Welcome to the ‘new look’ PCA Newsletter.  Over the past 18 months we used an internet based e-mail service. This was inflexible, hard to use and prone to text errors.  With  the development of the PCA’s website and our own server we are switching to emailing you direct.  We hope this will work better and of course be easier to read through Trust web browsers.  Tell us what you think.

In this edition we bring you up to date with the PCA Conference, held on 14/15 March.  The conference was attended by around 220 persons and was a key opportunity to discuss the MoJ’s consultation paper on Transforming Justice and the PCA/PA joint response.  You will find below links to plenary and workshop presentations and speeches.
