Newsletter 10 January 2013

Dear PCA member

Yesterday saw the publication of the Government’s proposals for probation reform.  These  can be read here.  The PCA has responded vigorously about both the need to preserve the integrity of offender management and the importance of maintaining local links to partner agencies. More detail on the PCA website here.   We have arranged for a meeting of the PCA Council with the Minister on 22 January. There is now a 6 week consultation period and PCA working with PA will be submitting a full response to the proposals.   The Conference will also be a key opportunity, so please register before 19 January if at all possible, to help ensure accommodation and to keep down the costs.

You can give feedback at  feedback@localhost.
