Last Friday (22 June) the PCA submitted a joint response, with the Probation Association, to “Punishment and Reform: Effective Probation Services” and its response to to “Punishment and Reform: Effective Community Sentences”. Both these reports were government reviews on the future shape of probation and community sentences . Visit the PCA website (see links below) to see our responses. Plainly there is a need to continue our dialogue with Ministers and we will look to do so in the coming months. We value your feedback. Views, comments etc, to feedback@localhost please.
In this edition we would like to welcome Sarah Billiald, Chief Executive of Kent Probation Trust to the role of PCA Communications Portfolio Lead. Sarah will be giving priority to developing PCA’s strategic approach to communications, supporting our goal of enhancing our already influential voice on probation professional matters. We value your feedback.
